Description

Villa Xuxu is an architect-designed villa nestled right at the edge of what The Travel Channel calls “the best beach in the world”, offering panoramic views and open terraces to the Caribbean from every room. This ground-floor villa has two king bedrooms which feature cozy reading area, desk, luxury bath with mahogany vanity and Mexican-tiled sunken tub and shower. The central living room and dining area has 180-degree views of the palm-shaded beachfront pool, the white sand beach and the turquoise sea. A bar and kitchenette with refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and utensils provides everything for enjoying the tropical life.

The villa is equipped with all of the modern amenities: flat screen TV, DVD, CD player and wireless internet. It is completely air conditioned and has ceiling fans and window screens. There is a private parking area just outside the front door. A caretaker couple who live adjacent provide daily housekeeping and can also shop and prepare typical Mexican breakfast and snacks for a nominal fee.

Villa Xuxu is located in a gated resort area which includes the boutique Maroma Hotel & Spa and five private residences. Although the villa is not part of the hotel, villa guests can contact the hotel administration to open an account if they wish to use the restaurant or spa services of the hotel. Two fine restaurants open to the public are located at the main entrance to the property, about a mile away. The villa is only a half hour from the Cancun International Airport, 15 kilometers from fun and funky Playa del Carmen, a boat ride away from Cozumel Island, an hour from the Mayan ruins of Tulum and Cobá, and an easy day trip from spectacular Chichén Itzá, one of the new Seven Wonders of the World.
